Renewed EAD received with wrong A#??!!

My wife received her renewed EAD card yesterday. Today we noticed that the A# from her old to the new one does not match. We verified the A#'s against all of her other paper work and see that only the new one is wrong. The NOA has the correct number, but the paper that came with the card and the card itself is 1 digit off.

What happens now?? I assume this card is invalid for work purposes (she lost her job 1 week before the old one expired which was 1 week before the new one came :( ).

We are currently stuck in processing for the GC (approaching 1.5 years with no reasons why... but that's another battle).

Sometimes i swear they are just effin' with us because they can.

2-22-08 - I-485 rev'd

2-27-08 - NOA1

3-17-09 - Transferred to Cali.

4-12-08 - Biometrics

4-22-08 - Touch

4-28-08 - EAD received.

...waiting...

3-04-09 - Had to renew the EAD :(

3-04-09 - Got annoyed at being outside of the processing window

3-04-09 - Called and they confirmed. Will contact me within 45 days.

3-05-09 - Date on the EAD NOA1

3-12-09 - Received a confirmation email that I am outside of the window and will get a decision in 60 days.

3-12-09 - TOUCH!!!

3-27-09 - Touch!

5-09-09 - Randomly received the renewed EAD Card... w/ wrong A# :(.

I would schedule an InfoPass appointment and take the EAD card and all your paperwork with you to see if you need to get a new card with the correct A# on it.

Sept. 2/08... Oath Ceremony

Sept. 5/08... Sent in Voter Registration Card

Sept. 9/08... SSA office to change status to "U.S. citizen"

Oct. 8/08... Applied in person for U.S. Passport

Oct. 22/08... U.S. Passport received

DONE!!! DONE!!! DONE!!! DONE!!!

KAELY (K-2 Visa)

Apr. 6/05... DS-230, Part I faxed to Vancouver Consulate

May 26/05... K-2 Interview - APPROVED!!!!

Sept. 5/05... Entered U.S.

Sept. 7/05... I-485 & I-131 sent to CLB

Feb. 22/06... AOS Interview - APPROVED!!!!! (Passport NOT stamped)

Dec. 4/07... I-751 sent to NSC

May 23/08... 10-Yr. PR Card arrives in the mail

Mar. 22/11.... N-400 sent to AZ

June 27/11..... Interview - PASSED!!!

July 12/11..... Oath Ceremony

I have an Email from CRIS that May 12 is the Dday on the GC. If I don't see an approval on May 12 on the USCIS website, I'm making an Infopass for that reason. I can always bring the EAD issue along with it. Great suggestion.
