Can I get my teaching licence while AOS is pending?

Hi there!

Has anyone any idea if it is legal for me to get my teaching licence while my EAD and AOS are pending?

I´m entering the US on a K1 visa on Thursday and I would like to start the process of getting my teaching licence. I already gathered all the documents and it just needs some time for the department of education to process them. So I would like to start as soon as possible.

My fiance and I want to get married as soon as possible so we will start the AOS pretty soon.

NOA1 August 22nd

touched after congressman inquriry January 27th

touched again February 27th

NOA2 hardcopy March 7th

Interview April 23rd

Visa in mail April 29th

Flight to US May 14th
