Dear Friends,

I married since 5 months in Cleveland OH, and I filed I-130, EAD, and AOS, I got EAD card a week ago, and my interview for green card in 10 days? Do you have any ideas about what is expected to get in Cleveland office, Please? Another question, does my short term marriage raises the suspicion of fraud marriage interview.

any word of advice is appreciated.

Thanks in advance

does my short term marriage raises the suspicion of fraud marriage interview.

Definintely NO, I got married Dec. filed AOS feb, interviewed April. During the interview, I don't have much evidence in our marriage; no joint accounts, joint mortage, joint medical insurance (we have separate insurance), joint bills. All we had was 3 wedding pictures and credit cards that all. The officer understood that we don't have enough time to have all those evidence since I got my interview so fast and we just got married. So, I don't think the officer will suspect that you have a fraud marriage.

except you arrived on a K-1 and have a totally different set of facts and circumstances.... the two are not really comparable

YMMV

We were only married for 5 months when we filed. We didn't have any issues with the question of fraud, and we were VWP adjusters. We were well prepared though with all the evidence we could carry, and we did a really great job of putting our package together in the first place. The IO seemed really impressed with the photos that we brought. I think they really pay attention to your demeanor at your interview, and how you interact with each other. If you've had no issues thus far with the process, I suspect that your interview will go smoothly. Good luck! Keep us posted! :)
