Okay people...quit barking at shadows! :D

How can you think that they know you did not meet through a marriage broker until you answer the question? Are you thinking they pre-screened these according to the original I129f response? Myself, I doubt they have looked at the I129f forms that carefully yet.

So is this the deal for mailing it back to CSC?:

If mailed back through regular mail the address is:

US citizenship and immigration services

California Service Center

PO box 10590

Laguna Niguel, CA

92607

And if mailed through over night (Fed-ex, UPS, etc) then the address is:

US citizenship and immigration services

California Service Center

24000 Avila Road, 2nd Floor, Rm 2312

Laguna Niguel, CA

Those that filed 30 days after others should be humble at this point. You are fortunate, in that you jumped the line. Congrats on the RFE! This is a good thing for you; perhaps you may want to consider others who, like you, met their Fiance while working in their country. Personally, I lived with my Fiance for 3 Years on two different continents! Evidence provided in the I-129F. This line of thought is way off track.

Relax and have another glass of wine!! I got your hidden message in there, by the way.. ;)

My point is, people were speculating on the reasons behind the lopsided jump in progress. Suggesting that others may be caught up in Marriage broker stuff. I was only offering that this is a ridiculous line of thought. That is all.

My comments were in no way meant to infer that you are not grateful for your good fortune. Fair enough? Cheers.

no one know's for sure anyone has jumped the line at this point no one knows what the hell will happen.

I don't think it's worry that anyone is jumping the line cause it's not intentional. It's just that it seems no one transferred from Nebraska to CSC has gotten an RFE yet - even people who filed in early March.

Also, since it seems no one at CSC (or USCIS for that matter) has a clue about anything, it seems pretty unlikely that they would actually look at petitions to see how people described their meeting, divide them up, and only send out those who had not met through a broker.

In any event, it's not a competition - we're all happy for everyone else. We just want things to be done in order.

If I don't get my stupid RFE tomorrow, I'm gonna lose it - doesn't mean I'm not happy to see others moving along - just tired of USCIS affecting my life in this way.

Agree wholeheartedly kitkat... I'm sure most of us were pretty clear in the 'how we met' category within the petition. I guess it's too much to ask that our tax dollars pay for educated individuals to look at, and make the necessary decisions about, our petitions without lumping all of us into one big generic category.

Yeah.. I'm starting to get very jaded, and we've only just begun.... sigh.

if you select anything on question 2 the only options you have is,,domestic violence,,,,homicide,,,3 or more convicions,,,,#3 says if you checked any of the above,,where you acting in self defense and such that,,there is not a box to check saying you didnt kill beat or traffic people so i guess not selecting anything is the answer they are looking for.

Jpine,

Don't want to stress you out but I was under the impression that Questions 2 & 3 were applicable to everyone, whether we met through Marriage Broker or not.

Can someone else clarify?

Sorry my bad. I got confused because my fiance has something he needs to disclose. But I'm well aware of it and not concerned by it. WE GOT OURS TOO!!

So happy for everyone and just wanted to say although I'm not a big contributed to forum I've valued everyone's opinions and encouragement for one another!

Thanks - I'm going to the gym shortly b/c if I don't do something I'm really gonna freak out. I think all the Senator's offices have received the same info - that they were sent out or were going to be sent out on Friday. But now it seems clear that they didn't all go out and that NSC transfers have not yet received anything. I know I could take the stupid RFE with me and fedex from Mexico - I sent my original K1 petition from there. But I want the damn thing in the fed ex today so I can forget about it already. The stress and not knowing is REALLY getting to me . . .
