Your 2008 W-2 and 1040 (and applicable 1099) would be sufficient for the interview.

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

WARNING: Phrases in this post may sound meaner than they were intended to be. Read the Adjudicator's Field Manual from USCIS

The IRS was unable to fax us the 2008 one though, cause it will only be ready by June 1st.

It should be ready.

As soon as they scanned the tax return to their computer, it is ready.

Did you request tax "accountant" transcript, which will have IRS audit result?

If you ask for tax "return" transcript, it will be ready as soon as they enter into their computer.

Usually IRS customer representative ask for whether you receive tax refund or not.

If they issue tax refund or additional payment notice, your tax return is entered into the computer system, and IRS can issue tax "return" transcript either by fax, or mail.
