 this is a dumb question, i know, but here goes:

i'm filing out the I-130 for my husband the beneficiary. for question number 17 "List husband/wife and all children of your relative": do i need to list myself (his wife)as one of his relatives. or do i not, since i'm filing the form as his wife.

YES, list your name there. That is a tricky one, but yes as mention, list your name.

The question says:

C. Information about your alien relative (continued)

____________________________________________________________

17. List husband/wife and all children of your relative.

(Name) (Date of Birth) (Country of Birth) (Relationship)

The answer:

crissie or missie (the beneficiary)

The petitioner (applicant) files the I-130, so he/she lists the beneficiary - the NOT US citizen / foreigner (however you can understand it better)!!!

Good luck :)

Look at the example form, under Example forms. If your the wife/petitioner and your filing for your husband the beneficiary, your name go in lines 17.

http://www.visajourney.com/examples/INS-Form-I-130.pdf

Notice on the form, the Petioner is the same name as on line 17.

This is dead wrong again. The husband or wife listed in 17 for an I-130 is the petitioner. The "alien relative" is the beneficiary.

May I suggest you refrain from answering questions about filling out forms until you learn how yourself. You're 0 for 2 in one day with one OP.
