 wow congratz!!!! and have a safe trip.....

tabo.....it's this container you scoop water with from a bucket full of water or catch water from a faucet with (i would say would probably holds 1 and a half liter of water) that you use to wash your behind and/or front with after you do your business in the toilet. Just plainly wiping doesn't do it...... :star:

Finally, I got my visa this morning  . Even it took months, it’s worth the wait. I am flying to Sacramento, CA this May 12; I have only 2 more days to prepare. I want to ask what should I expect at the POE and what is the procedure there? Another is, what are the things I should bring to US. Tips and advices are well appreciated. Thank you very much! :star::D

Congrats

delete the term CR or "comfort room" from your vocabulary...If you ask people.."where is the CR?" they will give you an "excuse me" reply or a confuse look all the time. Remember it's Bathroom or Rest room from NOW on...... :star:

Thanks for this info SJquin

By the way my POE is in Hawaii but my final final destination is in Sacramento, I only have 1 hr and 30 minutes stop over in hawaii, I am afraid I might be late in my connecting flight , Is 1hr and 30 minutes enough to pass through the immigration officer and to get my baggage, then to check-in again for my flight going to Sacramento? How much money should I need to bring? Am i going to pay travel tax and terminal fee again for my connecting flight? Thanks

Magdala ka ng hand carry na bag kung saan mailagay mo ang packet mo para walang probs, even in PI airport, they will ask it from you to be sure that ul not encounter any problem pagdating mo sa POE...then maghanda ka sa malamig na plane.

There's no other fee to be paid in your connecting flight. Your layover is kinda tight because of the security checks and immigration checks. Anyway just be prepared for any eventuality. Talk to the agent of your airline as soon as you reach Hawaii that you have a connecting flight for them to contact that flight. They have their way of doing that. It happened to us with Northwest last April 10, and we made it to our next flight. I don't really know if you can bring some of the things like those nipper and other sharp things in the manicure set because I remember that you have to declare your baggage to the customs slip. But maybe I am wrong. Maybe the nail polish and cuticle remover can be brought here of course you have to put them in your check in baggage not in your carry-on. For me, I want more to be on the safe side. Good luck on your trip.

hindi matagal sa immigration...maghanap ka ng nakasulat na immigrants at doon ka lumapit, wag kang sumunod sa iba na doon pipila sa dapat sa kanila...mga first timer lalo na pag may packet na dala sa immigrants pupunta, mababasa mo un sa Hawaii...kahit 20 mins ay kaya mo...tanong tanong ka lang...kumuha ka ng boarding pass pagdating mo sa Hawaii para makapasok ka sa gate # papunta ng Sacramento, nakasulat sa boarding pass mo ang seat number mo...ung sa akin kinuha pa namin baggage namin theh check in again pero madali lang naman, immigration officers are all nice, u can ask anything to them...ul pay only tAX and Terminal fee sa Phil...pagdating mo sa Phil airport ay magtanong ka ano gawin mo, madali lang...1,620 ang tax and 750 naman terminal fee...my POE was Honolulu, Hawaii...3 hours ang stop over ko...have a nice flight and good luck.
