Hi,

Not sure if im worrying for nothing but I had my interview on April 16th, was told I was approved and I should expect to get my letter and green card in 2-3 weeks.

At the interview I informed the officer that I had moved and she wrote down our new address but I still havent recived anything in the mail yet.

Just looked on the uscis website and the whole changing address thing looks like you need to fill out yet more forms, so ive done that for back up. Also my passport wasnt stamped with the temporary approval stamp so getting a bit stressed. Any ideas or similar experiences????

Thanks

The short answer, your Welcome Letter & GC will all go to your old address !....

USCIS hardly updates addresses. If I were you I would change my address through

Post Office also as a back up. Do it ASAP, because if your GC is lost or stolen,

You have to file I-90 & pay $370 !..... I know it does not make sense, but this is the rule.

"Patience is the key to the paradise (US Citizenship, in our case)"
