you cant find job by posting in a forum...try to apply online because there are job applications online or try to look at craigslist for jobs but be careful with scams that ask for money transfer or something like that.

or walk around your area and apply personally. make sure you have green card or ead so you can work and also ssn.

yes try craigslist.com, careerbuilder.com, monster.com for jobs posted online... or visit the company's website (for ex: target/jcpenny and click on their career page)

if you want to apply in person, just bring your resume and introduce yourself and leave your resume even if they're not hiring. who knows they might call you soon enough... good luck!!!

hi! i'll be one month this coming sunday here in NJ, i am on K1 visa. I don't have my SSN yet, and green card/EAD obviously but hey i registered at Monster.com and copy/paste my resume for future use. I was so surprise because after two days I got a call from one company for interview. Just be positive. I know how you feel. But im sure you will get a job. Keep on surfing net. I heard craigslist no good, there are scams on that site. Monster.com is the best.

Nice to hear..but did you accept the job? Don't accept it yet bcoz you dont have your EAD or greencard yet....you need a proof of authorizarion/permit that you can work legally here in the U.S...just a reminder :)

03/22/2011 - sent I-751 package to USCIS Vermont via USPS Priority+Certified mail with Return receipt

03/24/2011 - package delivered at VSC according to USPS tracking

03/25/2011 - package received by Center Director according to Return receipt

04/04/2011 - NOA received - dated 03/25/2011

04/11/2011 - Biometrics Appointment Notice received -notice date 04/08/2011

04/28/2011 - Biometrics Appointment - Done!

10/14/2011 - Card Production Email

10/17/2011 - Approval Notice received - dated 10/06/2011

11/04/2011 - 10yrs green card received
