Hello,

Can You please let me know, if anyone has had a similar wait time?

I see most everybody received their Bio appointments in 5-20 days, but it's been almost a month for me...

Also, do You know, if they would be able to tell me about having sent it out? Is it worth to call and try to check on this? Or wait as patiently as possible for a little longer...?

THANK YOU ALL, You are GREAT SUPPORT and it is so wonderful to see so many people being approved so quickly

Good luck to Everyone still in the middle of this process!

:)

1 month of wait for biometrics is not bad, some people waited longer than that it depends what state and to your service center. Remember you are not the only applicant. Did you receive the receipt of you application? if so you may want to check the status here https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/caseStatusSearchDisplay.do or call them at 1-800-375-5283 .. Good luck.

On month wait is bad when everyone else gets their appointment notice within a few days of the NOA. You realize if there is an appointment scheduled and for some reason we dont make the appointment our case may be denied even though we never got a notice. It is important to stay on top of this and not take USCIS for granted. They are known to make huge mistakes that cost people time and money. I did call on the 30th day and talked with an IO and she put in a service request. I hate waiting and hoping everyday that it will come. Just because I dont want any screw ups or delays.

Same here. Wait and see if it comes tomorrow or not. If not, I will try to give USCIS a call.

If you re-read my post I believe I said, it depends on the state or service center and the number of applications they received. Some service center are faster than other. Is it fun? of course not! but that's the reality. I didn't say that you have to wait forever and just take these things for granted.

I hate waiting and hoping everyday that it will come. Just because I dont want any screw ups or delays.

You have to have patience when you're dealing with USCIS like I said you are not the only applicant. Do you think I like to wait too long after paying X amount ? no but do I have a choice? no. All I really did before was call uscis and follow up but that doesnt speed up the processing but atleast I tried.

Read my post again! I really dont give a ####### about speeding up the process. I dont want to miss my husband's biometric appointment and be denied because we didn't go. He has been without an actual green card for two years because of USCIS mistakes. We had to send it back because of spelling error, and they claimed they did not receive it even though we had signature confirmation. All he has had is I-551 stamps in his passports and the last one they gave him expires Dec, 2009, so why would we be impatient about speeding up his 10 yr green card. The last few people on VJ that received their NOA got their Bio appointment letter with in 3 or 4 days. So why do you think we shouldnt be worried. Geesh.

Come down, your blood pressure!

I really dont give a ####### about speeding up the process.

Not too obvious.

I dont want to miss my husband's biometric appointment and be denied because we didn't go. He has been without an actual green card for two years because of USCIS mistakes. We had to send it back because of spelling error, and they claimed they did not receive it even though we had signature confirmation. .

Trust me I understand you, but unfortunatley I don't work for USCIS and I don't really need to know that. All I did was to reply to the OP gave the OP my opinion base on my experience and not to you, that's all.

The last few people on VJ that received their NOA got their Bio appointment letter with in 3 or 4 days.

I mentioned it already, again I'm not speaking in general but base in my experience and base from what I heard. That it depends on the state and service center , some are fast and some are so slow. Let me know if you want me to repeat that.

So why do you think we shouldnt be worried.

Did I say that? where? All I was saying was it doesn't hurt to call and follow up.

Geesh.

O yeah! gessh to you too...

But you reply did not make sense to any one that was waiting on their bio appointment for many days and what experience are you talking about? Your profile says AOS approved. No one has a clue to what service center you applied, and no timeline. I just dont understand why people go around VJ trying to answer questions when they dont really know what the op is asking. Please, if your "experience" does not refer to the question, just go find a question that does.

The last few people on VJ that received their NOA got their Bio appointment letter with in 3 or 4 days.

I wouldn't believe anything you said, so no don't repeat it.

So why do you think we shouldnt be worried.

Did I say that? where? All I was saying was it doesn't hurt to call and follow up.

Why don't you let people that know about our problem answer and leave you condescending remarks to yourself

Geesh.

O yeah! gessh to you too... This is the last time I will reply to you. I know you love to play the game, so go on with yourself. But, you will be talking to yourself. I know you want to have the last word!!! go on.....go on.... everyone's waiting.

Now where is that ignore button................ :ot2:...

So? I didn't updated my profile. If you don't like my reply then just ignore it , stop barking.

Why don't you let people that know about our problem answer and leave you condescending remarks to yourself

The OP said that they've been waiting for almost a month and then I said 1 month is not bad of a wait etc etc and what's wrong with that? So if I don't update my profile and I didn't put my timeline would that mean I am not allowed to reply? If you don't like my reply then tough!

Geesh.
