Another day, and no RFE in mailbox today, and still no email from CSC, but my case has been touched the past 3 days in a row.

Any ideas? maybe there is no RFE lady just said that, I dont understand why taking so long.

Talked to customer service, welll more like argued with them, they said no RFE, finally transfered me to a Officer, she said computer failed to issue RFE on May 4th, but my call May 8th got their attention, RFE is now in mail to me. Thank God!!!!

Will have RFE hardcopy by Saturday the latest, and put a end to this rollercoaster.

So much for phone call yesterday with USCIS, Yes Mrs. M your RFE was already mailed out!!! Guess she said it with her fingers crossed. FIBBERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well the good feeing I had today was blown away, instead of NOA 2 I got RFE.

I called USCIS and RFE was issued May 2nd, but still not received in mail today. But I think I know what it is, I sent in a copy of marriage license, and not the Recorded/Filed with courthouse. And that is okay, Im ready to send to them overnight.

Funny part when I realized what I did, as soon as I got NOA 1 I sent them the recorded copy of marriage license with my NOA 1 copy, guess they USCIS never matched it up.

Oh well, that is where I stand.

Okay, got RFE in mail finally, and it was not for marriage cert, that was a shocker.

They are requesting proof we were together for honeymoon, which I supplied tons of it, "maybe it got seprated from petition," or too damn lzzy to look at it. so I re-constructed proof, made it that a 1st grader can connect the dots and see the proof we were together. also did a notarized affadavit that i was there for honeymoon and marriage was consummated, he signed a statement ot the fact also, and Im also enclosed a DVD of our honeymoon video showing the dates. Rather they watch it or not, the proof is there.

Oh also encloding the Filed/Registured copy of marriage cert that I did not send originally.

Any ideas, ????? Should my husbands statement be notarized, or not, Now mine is notarized Sworn Affadavit that we were together and marriage consummated. I also explained the USCIS that he has not airline tickets or boarding pass to France for honeymoon cause he lives there, so I enclosed his current residency card.

Can you get any of his friends to sign an affidavit that they saw you there on your honeymoon days?

me my self is TOTALY SHOCKED cz i didnt expect that this is the RFE ...a marriage certificate beside some pictures is wht i gave USCIS ..and its ok ..so whts the He** they want from you after submitting more than whts required ..u know wht i think ? i think they lost it somewhere ...thts the only tht can happen and accepted

No we only went out a few times, mainly stayed in .

I re-did eveidence I think ither they wanted his arrival info. which there is none cause he lives there!! So I sent copy of his residency card. and etc. of all the proof again, plus a few other tid bits for them.

I dont think they even looked at it, or it got lost.

What???

Requesting proof that you were together for your honeymoon? Please explain that as I'm sure all of us are now freaking out! We sent wedding pics and stuff from our honeymoon and our wedding cert. and such... why would they require more evidence than that? You have a wedding certificate! Certified by the courts and such, right?

Wow, PH... that's certainly odd... please keep us informed as to how you're doing and how it's progressing and also, explain it to us too so that those of us waiting can either prepare for the same sort of RFE and whatnot...

Im going to Houston USCIS and show them and point out evidence and get name of officer I showed evidence too, maybe they an confirm when I send all back to CSC.

I did not have any honey moon but spent a month with my spouse right after the wedding. Honeymoon is not a social norm , yet younger generations do it anyways. So the questions, I Since i did not have a honey Moon, now what , my case will be denied ? i think that is abosolutely absurd,.

I am happy for you Beth, cuz this is the light at the end. I wish I could be at the same point , as many VJers, So i could do my NVC with others. however, USCIS seems to have a different plan for me.

I dont see alight, so thats why Im going ot USCIS Houston tomorrow to see if a officer will reveiw RFE with me, and show them our true evidence. It was all there in black and white for them to see, Im heartsick over it.

All USCIS has to do is see our evidence from the receipts back to back purchases, with our ATM card numbers on each receipt, I even gave them copies of our Debit cards so they can see his card number on his receipts and same for mine, one transaction madee 30 seconds apart, that proves, we were in SAME PLACE, SAME DATE, SAME TIME., to our pictures holding newspapers in photos are taken AFTER our wedding day, but yet before we filed with USCIS.

Wish me luck, I pray I get a understanding officer.
