:help::help: Please I need your advice, me and my fiancée are doing great working, and communicating together very well, but the little problem we have now start because my boss doesn’t pay me on time, not because I’m asking money from her, I know she feel concerned because of me not paying on time. but i let her know that this is the problem we have here working for one man business despite of this to get a new job in here in nigeria is little hard. but she made decision to end the relationship. :crying:

Please tell me what can I do, to gain her love back, because she already cut off the relationship and I’m afraid that she will not bend on changing her mind, because she would not change her mind. :crying:

please, What can I do for her to change her mind, I really love her. :crying::crying::crying:

What do you mean by "not paying on time" - what are you paying?

Did she pull the K-1?

It's a little difficult to answer. What is not being paid on time? If you could give an idea of the exact problem, then I am sure there should be plenty of advice.

Love shouldn't be based on money.

Apologies for the double post. I seem to be having technical issues.

Are you trying to state that because of the employer is not paying you on schedule that you are having to ask her for money now and she is thinking you are using her? Everyone needs help once in a while but dont think that is a reason to end a relationship unless the requests are getting to be excessive?

Getting paid on time is a fairly common problem in Nigeria... not sure how that's connected to the relationship though..

Sounds like He didn't get paid on time and he asked her for some financial help. She must not have liked that.

To the OP. Sorry your relationship is having a difficult time. Unfortunately but understandably many Americans see Nigeria as a whole as a high risk country so any attempt to ask for financial help will not be received well by many people simply because there are so many Nigerian scams here in the US.

I'm sure you love her with all of your heart and marriage should be team work to some extent. But it is probably better that you do your best to not ask her for any financial help even when you do not get paid on time.

It's a good peek into the type of future you will have together, though.

Best wishes, if she doesn't come around, I hope you find a woman who will love you equally as much as you love her.

In Nigeria situations like this are very rampant, one can work for a business solely owned by one person and don't get paid at the end of the month. They do not pay biweekly but monthly so some businesses due to not making enough money to pay their staffs do owe their staff salaries with the understanding that they will pay as soon as business picks up again.

I think his situation maybe when narrating his experience to his fiancee she may have helped out a few times and when his demands got excessive because believe me it does get excessive she might feel she is being taken for a ride by him.

Whatever the situation is, i hope they can work it out and if not it's better to have loved and lost than not to have loved at all. All the best.

There are always two sides to the story. I am sure it is not just because you were not getting paid on time.

There are many stories of Nigerian men using women on here, which could have lead her to have concerns. This is an expensive, trying, and difficult experience. IF somethings do not make sense you do not wait to figure them up. You give up.

She should go with her gut instincts. Sorry to say. If it doesn't feel right today, It will not be right tomorrow. Plain and real simple.

There are plenty of "romance help" web sites that if you mention the words Nigeria and money in the same post , hundreds of people will spend days telling you that no one from Nigeria that asks for money is real. Maybe she is listening to some bad advise. Maybe you can borrow some small small moeny from a friend and send her a nice card. If you haven't made up by the time it arrives maybe it will soften her heart. If you have made up the two of you can have a good laugh.
