ugh...., expecting CSC to do their job correctly..?? I don't think so !! :angry: Kitkat, GaryC... we are very close on our timeline and still have not received our RFE. If you guys receive any notices or something, please let me know.

Again, glad to know many of us received their RFEs, congrates !!

K1 Timeline ---

03/06/2006 --- Mailed I-129F to NSC

03/09/2006 --- Received (NOA1) by mail

08/03/2006 --- APPROVED (OMG)

11/10/2006 --- Received Packet 3

12/14/2006 --- Received Packet 4

01/25/2007 --- Interview Passed

03/30/2007 --- Arrived US

AOS Timeline ---

05/23/2007 --- Mailed I-485 & I-765

06/01/2007 --- transfer to CSC

06/22/2007 --- Biometric Appointment

07/20/2007 --- AOS APPROVED without Interview

Now waiting for the GC !!!

Gary's lawyer got his yesterday so I am crossing my fingers that I receive mine today. I already have the fed ex form filled out so I can grab the mail, make a copy, hop in the taxi, drop it in the drop box, and get on a plane. If it doesn't come today, I won't be able to send it back for 2 weeks.

Waiver approved after 10 months. Did NOT use a lawyer

Gary's lawyer got his yesterday so I am crossing my fingers that I receive mine today. I already have the fed ex form filled out so I can grab the mail, make a copy, hop in the taxi, drop it in the drop box, and get on a plane. If it doesn't come today, I won't be able to send it back for 2 weeks.

hahahahaha....., you are actually one step ahead of me... I am still trying to overcome CSC's incompetence and the delays they caused us....

K1 Timeline ---

03/06/2006 --- Mailed I-129F to NSC

03/09/2006 --- Received (NOA1) by mail

08/03/2006 --- APPROVED (OMG)

hahahahaha....., you are actually one step ahead of me... I am still trying to overcome CSC's incompetence and the delays they caused us....

Oh but it's not just CSC's incompetence. I mean, they are affecting on us on this one, for sure. But I am still shocked by the entire #### up - I just can't get my head around the idea that they could even have allowed this to happen. Then again, it has set me up for the rest of the process - I know that nothing will be smooth or timely. In fact, I don't expect to get my approval until September and I'm making my plans accordingly since I have ZERO faith in them at this point. :angry:

Got mine yesterday... mailing it out today.

Officially engaged 3/25/2006

I-129F submitted 5/23/2006

I-129F received 5/24/2006

NOA1 received 6/9/2006

RFE received 6/29/2006

RFE mailed 6/30/2006

RFE arrived at USCIS 7/1/2006

RFE arrival notice email (and a touch) from USCIS dated 7/6/2006

NOA2 Approval on 7/25/2006

NOA2 received in the mail 7/30/2006

NVC received approved I-129F packet 8/3/2006

NVC Letter received 8/5/2006

Waiting for packet to arrive at the US Embassy in Manila....

my opinion as unfair as it is to everyone who filed before us is, first come first serve. My thoughts are they are not going to receive the RFE and say "well we need to wait for others to come in who have earlier NOA1" i am HOPING for me they will take the RFE and start working on it. just have to wait and see. I recevied my RFE on Wednesday and it was received by CA on thrusday 0900. My feelings are it cant hurt for it to be there sooner, for me the $15.00 isnt an issue. and i overnighted it to the PO box.

I am debating how to mail back my RFE. A part of me thinks i should mail it back in normal mail...because they are not going to speed the process if i mail it back earlier. what is your thoughts??

I think you might be right. I wonder how many employees they have there and if they are waiting for RFE to start working. If they didn't have any other petitions to work on and yours came in I would hope the would work on yours. I can't help to wonder if they pre-worked our petitions at all. Hope they are fast. I can't imagine waiting 3 months like my lawyer's helper just said....back to normal processing she said.

Spoke to my lawyer and we were informed that they have received our RFE and were posting it out yesterday.

No touches or emails.

Sent AOS, EAD - 3/27/07

NOA1 for AOS and EAD - 4/03/07

Checks cashed - 4/04/07

touched AOS and EAD - 04/06/07

touched AOS and EAD - 04/09/07

RFE for AOS - 04/26/07

return RFE - 06/20/07

EAD approved - 07/07/07

AOS transfered to CSC - 07/10/07

AOS approved - 08/10/07

Welcome letter arrived - 08/18/07

Green card arrive - 08/18/07

Apply for stolen green card 07/12/09

Apply for I-751 09/31/09

I-751 rejected due to late filling

Resubmit with a letter explaining tardiness 10/01/09

NOA1 - 10/17/09

No BioMetrics

Approval 12/4/09

Got mine yesterday and sent it out Express Mail. Will get there Monday. NOA1 Date of March 28.

Timeliney Goodness

Late October, 2002 - Exchange PMs on a message board after being pointed towards each other by mutual friends.

December 30, 2002 - Meet in Edinburgh. I change plans to spend my second week of holiday with Chris.

After many, many trips back and forth...

September 27, 2005 - Chris comes over for three months to try the living together thing.

December 23, 2005 - We go to the UK to spend Christmas with his family (our first Christmas together)

January 4, 2006 - Chris almost doesn't get back into the country, but they end up letting him stay another three months.

February 14, 2006 - Attempted proposal. Aborted due to cold food and bad atmosphere.

February 17, 2006 - Successful proposal. Huzzah!

March 20, 2006 - Finally get I-129F Packet together and sent off to Texas Service Center.

March 28, 2006 - NOA1

April 1, 2006 - Touch

April 4, 2006 - NOA1 letter recieved.

June 23, 2006 - IMBRA RFE Notice Date

June 30, 2006 - IMBRA RFE Recieved in Mail, filled out and sent back Express Mail about an hour later.

July 03, 2006 - Touch (RFE recieved by CSC)

July 06, 2006 - Touch

July 07, 2006 - Touch

July 08, 2006 - Touch

July 25, 2006 - APPROVED!!

Hi guys,

Just to let you know that we just received an e mail saying that an RFE was set out to us on 23rd June. Still nothing from the postman though.

I wonder exactly how long a letter takes to make its way from California to Michigan... I suspect we should not hold our breath though unless we want to move on quickly.. ugh.

Somebody please tell me what happens next after the RFE and how long before we see some other action???

I don't know if all this is driving me

4-4-2006 ...........NOA1 received at NSC

6-1-2006.........I129F transferred from NSC to CSC

6-14-2006........CSC sends out their own "NOA1 look alike" receipt (touched??)

6-23-2006........RFE sent out (still yet to be received as at 7-3-2006!!!)

what next?
