My SO has confirmed that he has it today! I felt so relieved.

Anyhow, I'm moving my wedding plans back too, I was kinda gutted because I had finally decided on a colour scheme and stuff once I had my mind set on an autumn wedding I was looking forward to it.

But no point being disapointed

It seems the only ones form CSC who have gotten the RFE are the ones who originally filed at CSC to begin with.

Those of us who filed elsewhere truly have been moved to the "bottom of the pile" it seems.

So much for processing by the original NOA1 date....

Our,s was filed in late March and went straight to CSC. We have not seen anything yet. congratulations to those who have received there’s though. I am happy and glad the waiting is over for you now.

Best of luck to you ranran.

You are ahead of me by two weeks and I had hoped that Petitioner's at your stage, would have the RFE in hand. Perhaps Friday is the big day for those that filed in March. Cheers to that!!!!!!

Got my RFE! Was a little surprised since I thought my lawyer would get it instead. Great this is better! The postmark is June 27 and I am in Georgia. I am going to send it back express. Should I require a signature? What did you guys do?

Well i thought about sending it back express but i figure seems as they state that from the way i understand it is that it will go back into the normal processing timeline that was given on the NOA1.

I dont think sending it back overnight express is going to change the processing times so i just sent back normal first class postage.

Its the weekend also so they probably wont touch anything till next week anyways and it should get to cali. by monday plus next week is a holiday week.

Agreed, Fedex may make people feel better, but it is no use. As I said in an earlier post, these RFE's will be processed at will. We will all be processed, but when? That is the question that we all should ask. Not discussing and arguing about the merits or pitfalls of IMBRA. We are too late for that discussion. Agreed?

I have heard of extra staff on hand to process the new backlog, lets hope this is the truth.

GUYS I GOT IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i checked my mail for lunch. had to drive home. and low and behold... it was there!!!! it was mailed out on the 27th so im hoping everyone else gets theirs within the week....

:dance::dance::dance:

yeah its an RFE but with all the wait ... i had to rejoice.... on to the next step. keeping my fingers crossed for you guys!!!!!

Would it be a safe to say that this means their up at least Mid March on petitions? (based on when you got you NOA1)

i guess so but i think they are up to april. jpine who got his today as well filed in april. so im thikning theyre working on petitions that are from march 6 onwards

What do we have to send to CSC? Criminal Background Ckecks or National Criminal records and the form?

You send back the RFE form that they sent to you - nothing more.

As I understand it (but I ain't no expert), the RFE form that you send back includes the blue notice form and the white question form. The other paper that was included in the RFE is information only with no place for input of any information at all.

The blue Notice of Action form has all your pertinent information and says in bold caps to return this notice on TOP of the requested information listed on the attached sheet....so I plan on returning just the blue form and the question sheet with a "no" on question 1, questions 2&3 blank and my signature and other requested personal information at the bottom.

Since my NOA1 is rather recent...it will probably just go to the bottom of the heap....but as least I'm glad something happened. :-)

My guess is that since it's only original CSC filers that have received the form in the mail and appears to have no relation to the NOA1 date (take mine for example), that they did a mass computer printout and mailing to everyone that needed this RFE and they were all mailed out yesterday. Since I live in Southern California, I received mine quickly. It will take the mail a bit longer to get to those that filed in Nebraska or Texas.

I can at least be hopeful for those of you that live further away.

i answered the same as you...

for questions 2-3 i think that you dont have to send in anything unless you were charged of something ... criminal backgrounds then you would have to submit supporting evidence of the charge, dismissal or judgement...

thank you for all replies!!!

my fiance has no criminal records. so, we just have to send back the forms, right?

hope we all get our RFEs soon (I have never thought I would say this one day :) )!! :luv:

If I ever get the damn RFE I am sending it fed ex - 2 day - only because I want a way to track it and be sure they actually sign for it and receive it. At this point, I'm not willing to take a chance that it gets lost in their mail or someone there says they didn't receive it. Worth the $15 for my peace of mind. I know there is no rhyme or reason to processing at this point - I wouldn't be surprised if someone who filed earlier this month gets approved before me. . .

Well it coundn't hurt to send it express. It wouldn't be the first time I was surprised to see someone with a Noa1 date later getting a NOa2 sooner than others that filed after them. It was said they will do by NOA1 date but who would bet money on it?

we will see but I am willing to spend money ...like it was a lotto ticket. Who will be the first to get their NOA2 ....the first RFE or the first NOa1 date?

I'd bet money that people in May and June from CA are approved before March and April. I think they are one messed up service center and they have no clue whatsoever what they are doing.
