Happy Friday everyone... :star:

Today is the last day in the semester for my husband :dance: ; I'm so happy we are finally free; I want to do so many things starting with shopping tomorrow :devil: ...I didn't buy any maternity clothes yet. Well my belly isn't that big yet but still I better be ready. I still have to look where the good deals are at and what stores are having sales...I'll do that online.

Yes, it's Friday!!!!!! This is the second time this week that i broke a nail from my car door and when i say break, i mean literally broke (went beneath the skin..OUCH!!!) i have one bandaid left on my finger and of course it's interfering with my daily routines. Maybe it's a good time to put in for short term disability...lol

HLM, when i was pregnant, i didn't buy any maternity clothes and you're up Nagi to celebrate Friday!!It's going to be a nice day according to accuweather.

Maureen, what horror of horrors! I spaz if I break a nail! 0h and how well I know how that hurts. Time to get a manicure. I wasn't sure what the weather would be like. I don't watch TV, so thanks for the heads-up.

I think I should commence to plant some of these darn cannis plants today. I dread it. It gets harder to do every year.

i'm behind in my planting, i used to do it always right before Mother's Day but with the weather being so unpredictable, i wait til Memorial Day now. I was planning a cookout for Mother's Day but it shows its just barely going to be 60 deg. so that would mean everybody will be indoors and then I have to worry about my mom bringing her white glove inspection into my home. She always finds a smudge somewhere and points it out to me and gives me housecleaning tips...lol Mothers...gotta love'em :)

Mine too! But she hasn't been here for years, which in part is because I discourage her from driving all this way with one good eye, so it works out....no criticism. We are talking about a woman who scrubs the baseboards with a toothbrush.

I'm not quite as bad as using a toothbrush, but.... living here in Cairo certainly pushes one that direction. The dirt and dust drive me bonkers and everyone living here seems to be at peace with it. lol

We're at the in-laws and mom is making a big pot of some kind of something or other today because some of hubby's cousins and an aunt are coming. It smells soooo yummy!

Jeanne, I have to call the travel agent today for the umteenth time! He thinks that prices will go down the longer he waits. :wacko: I get a good deal, tell him about it, and whoa, let's try it again with another date. Holy crow ! Menz....can't live with 'em, can't shoot 'em.

Happy Friday ya'll!

Well well well...Drew Peterson was arrested yesterday and his bail is $20 million! He is my local celebrity~~ there are news crews all over da place! Seems he lost 2 of his wives, one died in a dry bathtub a few years ago and was deemed an accident, then his 4th wife Stacey went missing last year, never was found. He is an ex-cop and sooo cocky and arrogant. He actually smirked in his booking photo.
