Any Qatar interviews?

Hi all,

Does anyone have any stories about going through a CR-1 interview in Doha, Qatar? I've heard Egyptian men have difficult interviews everywhere and they security clearances take longer than normal.

I'm a USC living in Calif., my husband is Egyptian working in Qatar for 2 years. We're both Muslim, so that's a big plus for the interview hopefully.

We were married in Jan 09....we have a big wedding album, a ton of family photos on our honeyoon for 30 days in Egypt with his family, we're saving all of our phone records, chat logs (Skype & MSN), and my older brother/sister signed notarized statements of our bona fide marriage.

We're confident about all of our proof for his interview, but like everyone else, still nervous because of stories I've read on other websites about muslim males having difficult interviews.

01-04-09 - Married in Egyptian Embassy - Qatar - honeymoon in Egypt (Ahmed's home country)

05-04-09 - I-130 Sent

12-13-09 - INTERVIEW PASSED (Qatar)....Spent 12 weeks in AP

03-03-10 - VISA IN HAND :)

03-06-10 - AHMED COMES HOME :)

03-12-10 - SS# card received

03-19-10 - GC received

05-15-10 - First job

06-01-11 - Better job!

03-2012 - Started our business

Removal of Conditions/10 yr GC

02-15-12 - Sent I-175 ROC

07-17-12 - approved!....card production ordered!!!!

07-21-12 - 10 yr card arrived in mail :)

03-2013 - Apply for Naturalization
