Only time ours was touched was when it was approved

I got a touch right after sending it, i'm sure it was just putting the file in a box. Then, I didn't get touched until 5 hours before approval. Don't sweat the touches. Especially when its only been a few months!

no, touches sometimes means nothing, also you filed only 2 months ago, don't worry yet, too soon too worry...

I need some feedback. I have asked my fiancee for a receipt of my stay with him from a friend that we rented a room from for 2-3 days. His firend has been traveling on business since I left Morocco. We cannot seem to get the receipt because his friend says that the house is not registered yet. I then asked my fiancee to request a letter from him stating that we were together and of our relationship. I am thinking that we may need it for the interview when that time comes. I also asked my fiancee to ask his family to write a letter indicating that he and I are engaged and of our relationship. My fiancee seems to think that we do not need it, but Ithink that we do since we did not have an engagement ceremony and no receipt of an engagement ring.

Should I press this issue of let it be?

Ok...not me...but my case hasn't even been touched according to the USCIS website since they originally received it March 3rd. Should I be worried yet?

-Blu-(IMPATIENTLY WAITING!)

My case was never touched, and I did not know that I was approved until I received mail from NVC to pay my AOS, and Choice of Agent. So I would not worry too much about your case not being touched. Infact the USCIS site still say- that my case is pending when my case is at the NVC.

Not everybody has an engagement party. Listen to your finance when he say he does not want to ask this man for a receipt. If you have letters of support from his family that is all that should matter. I don't know the laws in Morocco, but it's safe to say that he could get into alot of trouple for breaking the law.

Thank you for your input. I will let the receipt issue alone, but you agree that letters of support may help. I do think that we should have at least letters of support from his family of our relationship. I am concerned that we should not wait until we are asked for the letters of support from his family because we cannot guarantee that his family will be able to get them after they are requested within the time constraints that we will have placed upon us when they are requested.

Have both the Arabic (original version) and the translated (English version) when he goes in for his interview. Just stay positive, and keep negative energy away from you and this Journey.

Thank you again. I will explain this to my fiancee. I wish you the best in journey, as well.

hello! there. we got the NOA1 on march 24, so its just a little closer on urs and we always track it on the uscis website and its still not touched. i am quite worried and wondering if i did all those documents right. really scared of the RFE, 'coz it might prolong the process. i can't wait for my LOVE to be here with me now, 'coz i feel its been long overdue, we've been waiting for this moment for 3 years now. hope we will get a touch soon and hope no RFE. so, WYLD BLU - we are on the same boat..............

At first, when I received my NOA1, that's all I was looking for, the touch. However, after a while, I realized that many of the people on here don't really get any touches. Not only that, they don't really mean that much. I, like you, am a March filer (received NOA1 March 12). According to the USCIS website, the current processing time for the I-129F is 6 months. We're still well within that time frame, so there's nothing to worry about. After 6 months, then we panic!

So, I just bide my time and not worry about touches. I just hope May is a good month. The most important thing is when that NOA2 arrives in the mail!

From what I've been reading, there's is a major backlog in the system so not everyone will get the "touch." It's also no use checking the USCIS website all the time if you signed up for email alerts.

Just be patient, I know it's hard. But, we need to realize that we knew what we were getting into when we decided to start this journey.
