Well our original plan was for me to be sponsored by my wife to go to Canada. I just hope they let her visit me while she sponsors me. I don't see why they wouldn't because she isn't even trying to immigrate or remain in the United States at all. Besides wouldn't it be best to tell the IO at the POE when she crosses that she is coming to visit her husband and have him sign the sponsorship papers so that she can send it to Missiauga?

The one thing you will learn real fast now that you are going thru any immigration process.... tell the border officers NOTHING more than they ask for. Give truthful answers (and don't lie or else you'll really get hassled afterwards) and don't offer any more information that isn't asked for. The less you say, the better. When she is asked what the purpose of her trip is, she can say she is going to visit her husband. They will most likely then ask her if you are in the K-3 process, and she can then say, no, my husband is intending to immigrate to Canada and we are in the process of that right now.

But, like I said before, proof of ties to Canada is going to be her most valuable tool to enter the U.S. once she says she is entering the US to visit her husband.
