Hello all. I just want to ask more specific questions about the I-129 form. How long should the description of us meeting be? We met while traveling in Australia and then traveled and lived together after that. Should I include everything in detail?

Do you know if they prefer these forms to be filled out in pen or typed up? Is it ok to fill them out in pen?

There are gaps of where I lived for my G-325 form because I have taken extended trips abroad, how should I fill that out? Should I include my address in Australia there even though it was only for 3 months?

When it asks for where my fiance (the beneficiary) will live when he gets here, I can put the address I live in now, but my lease will be up and we will be moving into a different apartment of which I have no address for yet?!!!? What should I put?

Do I need to include a copy of my Social Security Card?

Does anyone have any additional information for me since my fiance is from the UK? websites, links, etc.

Thank you!

Do you know if they prefer these forms to be filled out in pen or typed up? Is it ok to fill them out in pen? Doesn't really matter

There are gaps of where I lived for my G-325 form because I have taken extended trips abroad, how should I fill that out? Should I include my address in Australia there even though it was only for 3 months? Just list your current address

When it asks for where my fiance (the beneficiary) will live when he gets here, I can put the address I live in now, but my lease will be up and we will be moving into a different apartment of which I have no address for yet?!!!? What should I put? Use your current addrss

Do I need to include a copy of my Social Security Card? No.

What if I don't have an address for some chunks of the 5 years because I was off travelling? The first trip was 5 months and the second trip was 9 months, therefore, I don't have an address because I was backpacking!? What should I put for those spaces???

I'm assuming you got mail while you were away, and they were sent to your permanent address? Then that should be fine.

Thank you!

You can attach a novel for television if you like. List the hostels you "lived" in and include subplots, footnotes and acknowledgements. But two sentences and two photos together (we only sent ONE photot) along with some travel documents for that trip will do the trick.

Type, pen or both. If they can read them, they work

Yes, yes we know about your extended trips abroad from your other posts. They are "extended trips abroad" they are not gaps in "residency". What does your US issued ID say on it? What did it say five years ago? Vacations to Austrailia do not get listed on the G-325a.

Put your address now. He can change it when he fills in the DS-156 for the visa.

No copy of SS card needed.

Yes, read the forms carefully and interpret literally. There are no trick questions

:bonk:

HOME address. During those months, what did your driver's lisence (or high school ID) say?
