LaL - cravings? Lucky ducky. Maybe your migraines are triggered because of a lack of salt and grease in your diet? ;)

 maybe, I don't eat unhealthy often. If I eat anything else, I am nauseated and sometimes can't keep anything down.. aside from my McD's burgers :P

S'okay. My claim to fame in over a dozen years of being a vegetarian is eating a McDonald's cheeseburger one night when I was really drunk.

It was pretty good!

I've had migraines at least since second grade. My main trigger is warm to hot sunny days. Summer is my own personal hell. I drool to read of places where the average high in July is around 65F. As little as 15 minutes exposure spells the beginning of the end.

The only thing that really helps is locking myself inside with the AC for basically 4 months of the year between 9am-7pm, only going out when absolutely necessary, and a lot of generic Excedrin. I know the only real solution is to move.

Migraines suck.

I never had a migraine in my life until after my son was born, then BAM  I have been having them ever since, almost 21 years now :crying: I have seen so many docs over the years including neurologists, and tried different meds including giving myself Imetrex injections. When I get one, I am usually down for a few days. I use mostly chiropractic, massage and ice during the acute episodes. My preventative measures include exercise, lots of water, stress management. I have quit caffeine, but still battling with the sugar and that is def. a trigger

I feel for anyone that suffers w/ migraines, it really takes others that are inflicted to truly understand !

LAL ~ I crave more sugar during my episodes, go figure

Jen ~ When you are in B'ham I want you to meet my Chiro, he has helped me so much with my headaches !
