Come on folks, in all seriousness, this is Hannity that we're talking about. He is about as credible as a political commenter as Jessica Alba.

He's an entertainer who excells at saying things for shock value. I do think he genuinely is that stupid though

Maybe Fox News needs to change their name to, Faux News & Entertainment?

With regards to their actual news shows, they are OK, my only problem is how they crop videos to suit an agenda. But that is to be expected, I imagine MSNBC does the same. I just wish people could discern between commentators and actual news content.

Then, Steven wouldn't have so much fun posting inane and supercilious threads as if their content really matters.

Bernie Goldberg is a regular guest on Hannity, so wouldn't that make his opinions expressed as also inane and supercilious?

What's wrong with a bit of horseradish is what I want to know. Mustard be damned!

Do you REALLY want my answer, brother Pike????

BTW - if you're a Goldstar chili fan and happen to be in the MidEast, there's a spinoff there which is the genuine article. One of the brothers who founded Gold Star left Cincinnati and returned home to Jordan. It's franchised throughout the region, including one in Ramallah. When I lived in Israel I seriously thought of going there for a coney and a 3-way but unfortunately that just didn't seem like a very safe option :(

Oh another trivia note. The most popular domestic beer in Israel is called Goldstar. Fancy that.

And once more, you earn this :jest:

 I hadn't even thought of 3-way in THAT sense...

For those who have never been initiated to the finest of Cincinnati cuisine - coney & 3-way refers to their own brand of chili, available exclusively in the tri-state OH/IN/KY area around Cincinnati. Oh yeah, and in Ramallah The West Bank, too

Make no mistake, Fox News blurs this line more and more each day. It's hard to tell the difference when people like Hannity like to pretend they are journalists.

Hannity doen't pretend to be a journalist. It's not hard to tell if you ever listen to him; he doesn't claim to be.

Why? Because he won't see you anymore? Get over it.

I'd rather have a well done burger than a plate of salmonella, thanks! My sister-in-law nearly died from eating improperly handled ground beef (by someone else) so I'd err on the side of caution.

If one commentator says it, I might go along with the "he's having fun with it" defense, but when others jump on the bandwagon -- well, they either can't think of their own material, or think it's a legitimate point to bang on. The whole thing is ridiculous.

Medium well = bad meat? News to me. Personally I don't like blood running out of food - its a bit too close to nature.

Still as far as political stunts goes - nothing beats UK politician Peter Mandelson's vote of confidence in chinese milk (after the scandal that additives in it had caused kidney stones). So certain was he that the milk was safe he drank a glass in front of reporters (and was hospitalised two days later for kidney stones).

Or a sign that maybe you just don't like bloody meat.

I used to order mine well done but they mostly end up just burning it on the outside and still leaving it kind of pink in the middle, so I switched to medium well.

Real love stories never have endings...
