Obama didn't want good-old-fashioned American ketchup. No, Mr. "Common Man" over here wanted his hamburger with "spicy mustard"—or, horror of horrors, "dijon." Dijon! Real Americans don't like things that actually make things taste like things, Princess OBambi!

Then Sean Hannity plays the old "Grey Poupon" commercial, as if having seen that commercial 20 years ago is the only reason an adult man who lives in Chicago (where ketchup is not considered an acceptable condiment for a hot dog, btw, Mr. Hannity) would want "spicy mustard." Then he literally says this: "I hope you enjoyed that fancy burger, Mr. President."

When you can no longer cut the mustard, you can at least lick the jar.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Laura Ingraham, too

During the May 6 edition of her radio show, Ingraham said of Obama: "I don't even like the way the man orders a hamburger. ... What kind of man orders a cheeseburger without ketchup but Dijon mustard?" She later added of Obama: "See, he was trying to do this whole thing with Biden -- 'We're like the regular people, we're like every other guy, you know, with our -- on our lunch break, we're going to go grab a burger, two guys, two bros.' " Like Hannity, Ingraham played a clip from a Grey Poupon commercial in which an actor asked, "Pardon me, would you have any Grey Poupon?" Ingraham then remarked: "That would have been more appropriate."

Man is made by his belief. As he believes, so he is.

Anyone been to five guys? They make some tasty burgers..

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

Wow. So now if you like spiced mustard you are an elitist pig?

Man, I am so screwed. I not only hate ketchup, but I buy my mustard at the German deli or at Trader Joe's!

I mean obviously this whole notion of authenticity-via-condiments is insulting to anyone of any party, but if you're going to do it, at least freshen up your populist buzzwords. In the meantime, Sean, I've got a scoop for you: the socialists at Burger King are trying to push croissants on Americans! Probably to try to make us go gay!

Which, by the way: Burger King? What, Burger President wasn't good enough for them?
