Pakistan is a Muslim country and a couple of time i have heard cases where they kept visa because they didn't want to give it to Christians and my family is Christian what can be done???

Your family has misunderstood the embassy, the problem is not unavailability of visas but your uncles are in "Administrative Processing".

There is no min. or max time for administrative processing (AP). however ISL refuses to respond to any inquiry pending less than 10mons and surprise surprise they will not to respond after 10mons either unless their AP clears.

What is AP? it could be many things but for Pakistanis it is in most instances security/name clearance. I have know indviudals who had been stuck in AP for 3/4 years

My fiance was in AP for 15 months+/- ... You cannot do anything but wait for the embassy and agencies to clear the name.

I recommend you visit the forum for islamabad embassy on VJ.

Also, it has nothing to do w/the relgion.. common name could be an issue.
