A bit of good news for those of us with spouses from Iran!

So I don't know how many of you remember Lisa Luggi from this site, she has since left us, but I stayed in contact with her and her husband's interview was at the end of april. Well contrary to what many were saying and what many are afraid of, it turns out, they were approved right away and her husband got the visa that very day. (NO AP!!!) She also said that many of the other couples there in Abu Dhabi were approved and given visas right away as well!!! I'm super hopeful.... our interview is in 12 days and we're leaving for Dubai in 9 days.... it's all so nerve wrecking. Wish us luck and good luck to everyone else, I hope this news calms the nerves on some!

Good luck to you and your hubby! Keep us posted on your results. I know that Lisa's husband was in the U.S. when they married. I'm not sure what kind of bearing that had on their case (I'm sure it was a positive one), but it's good to hear that others were also getting visa's without AP.

yeah, what's interesting is that she said there was a couple there that won through the green card lottery and they went through without any AP.... i'm hopeful!
