case forwarded

hi everyone. happy valentine to u all alright.

our case has just been completed on the 26th of january. and we are waiting on nvc to forward our case to lagos consulate.

question: how can we track our pack. is there a way we can know when the pack arrives lagos after its forwarded? i had asked optimystic tho, but i wanted to get more detailed answer. i remember i read something about how one could track his pack. i have lost it now.

pls we would need ur help ok. thanks everyone.

Hi congratulations on your case completion. I actually don't know how you track the package but there is a thread about it when you go to the NVC forum. It will get there before the interview cos i believe they forward it after they schedule the interview and you don't have to pick anything up unlike the k visas. Did NVC give you an estimate of how long it will take to schedule you? I remember there was a back up of 4-5months at the end of last year to get an interview date. Do you know if that is still the case?

Congratulations on your case completed. Here is how to track from DHL.

Go to: http://track.dhl-usa.com/TrackByRef.asp?nav=TrackByRef

Click on track by reference number and put in I-730

Then put in the date you want to start searching for. It will show all diplomatic papers that were sent out and to which embassies for that date.

Congratulations....

Well, i dont know if you can call it a backlog or a stop work. My case has been completed since september 21 2005 and i'm still waiting for the my files to be sent to Lagos.

But once again, congratulations, you're almost there.

agsoba83, wow september 21st! that's a big back up well maybe they will start to speed things up soon Some good news is that i know of someone who's case was complete september 16th and it has been forwarded so who knows maybe when you call on tuesday they will have some good news for you!

Mine was completed Oct 19, and nothing yet...whew I felt I was being placed in the back burner. Guess there is some sort of slowing down, sigh more waiting. But as mentioned things might pick up, praying so. Wish us all a blessed journey!
