Hi,

I filed a k1 fiance I-129a document in October of 2008. My fiancee got her interview in April 13 2009 and passed. She is heading over to the US on May 10, 2009. On her visa paperwork it says that her sponsor paperwork expires on May 8, 2009. Her visa does not expire until September. I am wondering, is the expiration of her sponsor documents going to be a problem?

Thanks

I've never heard anything about a sponsors paperwork expiring!!! Sponsorship normally last until the bene gets her US citizenship, dies or works so many quarters.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!

What is the title of the form that is telling you this? Did you file a 129F for your fiance or a 129 temporary worker petition?

I filed a I-129a Fiancee petition. My Fiancee says that on the visa it has my name on it and an expiration date of May 8, 2009. Not sure what this is for? Is it for my I-129a petition that was filed in October of 2008? I am kind of worried...

Thanks

129F is for a fiancee. 129 is for a nonimmigrant worker. There is no 129A listed on the USCIS website. What is the visa paperwork that she is referring to?
