Be assured your dog is in heaven. 0ur heavenly Father created him, he was God's property but He had given him to you to take care of. God simply called your dog home because He loved him, too.

I am sooo sorry for your loss! I know the hole in your heart is big, but just think that your dog is in paradise surrounded in love with other pets to play with, but what is more, your dog has seen and is with God himself. (F)

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

Oh sweetie,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss, I too just lost a beloved pet. My daughter found a dog in the middle of the street, it was in February of this year. Of course she felt bad, and pick up the dog and took him to the vet where he got the needed shots and look over. We put an add in the paper, but no one claimed him so he became our baby. My daughter named him Roosevelt, and Roosevelt soon became my new son, as I have another dog named Gus who is a Chihuahua, and Roosevelt appeared to be a Toy Fox Terrier. Interesting thing Roosevelt was displaying strange behavior, finally after several visits to the vet, I figured out he was showing signs of Cognitive Dysfunction Syndrome, it was text book diagnosis, but yet I who am not a vet had to research my dogs systems to figure out the problem, and than ask for the anipryl, which is a new break through drug. During this time after Roosevelt had his teeth done, mostly pulled since they were rotted out, he began to claw at his mouth. Of course test after test, drug after drug, he continue to go down hill, he continue this behavior until he had open wounds in his face from clawing at it non-stop. We started to sedate him, and at the end, when you look at his wounds you could see the muscles, that is how bad he had gotten. We had seen 7 vets and not one of them had ever seen anything like this, it got to the point that he had to be put to sleep. It destroyed me, since I had this time before my last residence and was planning on just reading and hanging around, instead I was at animal hospital at least twice a week in the dead of night, most times daily at the hospital, it was really a full time job. But being a big animal lover that little angel was my baby, and in his lucent moments I would tell him to kiss mama and he would, which were rare moments. He was also 95% blind, vet said that it appeared that his former home didn't care for him, broke my heart. But to just drop your dog off in the middle of the city and hope some kind soul will pick it up, which most times they end up dead, I can not understand. And I do understand how the death of a family member and this dog is your family member can effect your happiness, I am so sorry for your lost, maybe build a tiny memorial, you know plant a flower or plant. Hang in there sending positive thoughts your way. Edited by Ganja_Girl

(F) I'm soooo sorry for your lost. I KNOW how it feels. My beloved dog, Punk, a gorgeous Miniature Pinscher was unexpectly taken away from me. He passed away in his bed a week before his 4th birthday. We still have no idea why it happened. Neprosy showed trauma-related case of death. It was a terrible day for me -- a chain reaction of things: in short, I was very angry for a long time, and I still cry/mourn for him even through it has been over a month since.

I am truly sorry and feel for your loss. Your dog is beautiful and I'm sure he's up in the Heavens playing with my Punk. Rest in Peace, puppies. (F)

i know the feeling....i have 16 dogs and it is truly painful when one has to leave, and your dog's death is very tragic. I am so sorry. It must be very painful on the part of your husband and his family since they are really the ones who lives with the dog. At least you had a chance to know her and be part of her life before she bids goodbye to the world.

Btw, congratulations and best wishes to you!

I am so sorry for your loss. I know how much our fur-babies mean to us and how much it hurts when we lose them.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”
