MY HUSBAND WILL BE WITH THE JERUSALEM CONSULATE IN PALESTINE. THERES NOT THAT MANY MEMBERS HERE FROM PALESTINE, SO I DONT REALLY KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THEM. IF ANYONE HERE HAS HAD THEIR INTERVIEW AT THE JERUSALEM CONSULATE, WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE ANY ADVICE AND EXPERIENCE!!??? WISH EVERYONE THE BEST IN THIS JOURNEY.

Ive wondered also if the 2nd week in May is this week or next week. My suspicions are that they consider the 2nd week in may next week. I am waiting also for a schedule date.

Hi everyone...we already have an interview date, so technically I am waiting on our interview...which is June 15th.

Just wanted to respond to you guys talking about calling back the second week of May...blah blah ####### the operators always say. Our case was complete April 8th...we thought we would make it in time for a May interview but we didn't. That is when they started the ####### about calling the second week of May. I noticed others here on VJ getting interview dates towards the end of June. I kept calling NVC and they kept giving me the programmed line. Well, April 24th we got an e-mail from NVC with our interview date! From what I understand, it really depends on how many open slots your embassy has & when the embassy sends those slots to NVC. I think they just say the second week of the month so people don't bug them as much.

So don't loose faith! I hope all of you hear something very soon! Come on June interviews!!!! Good luck & God bless you!

^^Absolutely Amanda! Our case was completed Feb 13 and were told the same story over and over...call back mid-April! Then we received an email March 27 for our May 12 interview. In fact the very night before, we were told to call back in two weeks. So keep trying everyone and keep checking your email! Good luck.

I called one night and was told to call back after the 15th of the month, and late the next afternoon I received the email about out interview. Our case needed to be looked at by a supervisor - it would have been completed in March if the original case agent had of known what documents are acceptable from Canada. Can't do anything about that now. So try not to get discouraged, your interview date will be assigned before you know it.

Good luck,

Janet
