The only sober consideration is, (according to the survey) like 80% of Blacks actually believe the press is harder on Obama than past Presidents.

With absurdity like that.... I'm afraid it would not take much to erase any movement forward.

50% of Blacks feel the media is harder on Obama while 15% believe harder.

With whites it's the opposite.

50% of whites think he has it easier with the press and 15% believe the media is harder.

Personally, with the historic nature of this election - 45 yrs. from Voting Rights Act being signed - I don't see your point with this thread rather than to further your right-wing agenda.

Sorry for jumping on your case. Whenever I read something with an anti-African American slant coming from someone with ties to Russia, I immediately dismiss that person as being Racist. On the Baltic from Aaland to Finland, I was faced down by three Neo-Nazi Skinheads who were headed to the next stop on that ferry - St. Petersburg, Russia. I read all of the bad news about Russia being this new gathering place for Neo-Nazi extremists, and having being affected by it first-hand (on the ship 3 summers ago), I figured you were "one of them." By acknowledging the above historic criteria, I realize you are a thinking member of humanity and not a bigot. My appologies.

Yes Russia is a dangerous place for darker skinned people. a small and perhaps growing segment do not want Russia to follow the rest of Europe's path (as far as mass immigration).

Skin-head type groups (which are not all neo Nazi) do pose a real safety concern for those darker skin people.

I have seen clips of these attacks on Russian sites and they are quite violent and disturbing.

I have known Black Americans who traveled Russia with no problem but I would not advise it ...at least not without certain precautions.

BUt on balance, there are many parts of the good-ole USA a White person would not venture into without assuming great Risk, especially at night.

I know that not all skinheads are neo-Nazis. I listened to Punk Rock since 1980, I know what a SHARP skin is, etc. The Neo-Nazis that ran into me on the ship on the Baltic wore red braces, one had on a SKREWDRIVER t-shirt, cherry red Doc's, etc.
