I've seen some posts stating USCIS might be working on HB1 (working) visas. Supposedly there was a deadline for April and those take precedence. I know a lot of April filers didn't get the NOA1 or checks cashed for several weeks, which is somewhat unusual. I see some are getting them now, so I'm hoping things will start moving again.

I never would have believed my journey to happiness would begin with something called an "I-129F"

03/19/09 - I-129F Sent

03/20/09 - NOA1 (rec'd harcopy 3/26/09)

03/24/09 - Check cleared

03/25/09 - Touched

8/12/09 - Touched (4 hours before NOA2 email)

8/12/09 - NOA2 email received

***Received email at noon (Weds)

***USCIS site did update with the status

***Was 113 on Berkeley list; 156 on VJ list

what is going on its been so long since some1 got approved...is there a problem does any1 kno

You do know the time lines here are only showing data from people on this site, not all the actual cases that are in the system atm.

We may of hit a section of petitions that are not in this time frame, according to the info at this site.

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

WARNING: Phrases in this post may sound meaner than they were intended to be. Read the Adjudicator's Field Manual from USCIS

We have the same NOA1 and I have been wondering the same thing. We just arrived at the week where there is finally a possibility that we could be approved....and everything stopped! I know it will start up again, but it's frustrating.
