Brand new here. We just sent in our I-130 to the London Embassy this week just gone. Based on your timelines we'll hopefully be receiving our NOA1 by the end of the next week.

Fingers crossed! We hope it runs smoothly. We have LOADS of questions (some of which we've found answers for on here and others we'll ask when the time gets nearer).

I'm no expert, although my other half thinks I am because every time he asks me a question I know the answer off the top of my head, but I'll try to answer your questions if and when I can. Hopefully you'll be as lucky with your timings as we were, everything seems to be running smoothly so far ::crosses fingers::

Great. That didn't take too long at all. Let's hope that the interview dates come up really quickly. I would love to be back home for August. I love Texas in the summer.

Where are you and Brett moving to in the states?

Oddly enough - Texas! Actually, it's one of a few States we're looking at. After living through 31 years of pants UK weather he's promised me a few years of something warmer! We're looking at Texas or Florida (and less enthusiastically we're also looking at Georgia and Arizona), but where we end up will depend on where Brett finds work, which is proving tricky to find 4 months in advance (we want to move in early October). It's going to be a new start for both of us. He has an Uncle in San Antonio, but the rest of his family is in Wyoming - I've been to his home town and I'm in no hurry to move there, lol.

My husband and I will be moving to Wisconsin, not the warmest of places, but that's where his job is.

We received packet 3 on saturday, about 30 minutes after we went out of town. I am going to stick the paperwork in the mail today.

Secondly, they really seem to be on the ball with their turnaround times at the moment. Let's hope that continues!! ::touches wood::

We're sending off our Packet 3 today, I've found somewhere to get my 2"x2" photos done (Snappy Snaps) and my medical has been booked for Friday June 26th! All systems go, lol.

It looks like this is the only thread that makes any sense for us. Like you all mentioned earlier, the UK regional area seems to be flooded with people who are doing K-1.

Definitely more prepared (only a little tiny bit obsessed)! I spent most of my day at work sneaking peeks at my personal email and when I least expected it the NOA1 email appeared. So based on the average of your timelines in this thread I've worked up a rough timeline of when our things should be coming through (without RFEs *fingers crossed*).

If they send me an RFE about our marriage I'd happily send them a filled nappy sack as proof we have a child together!

Packet 3 received, returned, medical booked... After all the urgency and panicking we felt it's now time to chill a bit. Just checking over paperwork and making sure we have everything, then no more freaking out allowed till the week before the interview, be nice wouldn't it! I must admit though I do feel a bit calmer about the whole process today.

Also, really glad packet 3 is done now as it means I can go back to the US for a couple of weeks and spend some time with hubby.

No idea how these people who are separated for many months or years cope, we've not even been apart a month and are really hating it. Reading some of the stories on this site is just heartbreaking can't begin to imagine what they feel.

I just wanted mine over and done with as soon as possible. The sooner that's done, the sooner I can take a breather until the next letter comes!
