Ok get this. I sent an email to the embassy. I know they send you a little deleted message. But what I did was send a reply to the email I received about my NOA1. Different email address. Five minutes later I got a response. How cool is that????? If you are wondering, the email address is

Wow, that's great. I called the extortion line and got an email code number over a week ago and am stilling waiting for a reply. Did they say you I-130 had been approved?

I've got my fingers crossed that your NOA2 comes through very soon. We still haven't heard anything since we received ours, but I'm not really expecting to for at least another week. I'm just getting everything together while we wait.

Congrats! Another step complete, let's hope they hurry up with the packet 3's for you two. I'll just continue stalking the postman till he brings my NOA-2 and my passport. I continued using my maiden name as it was just easier with work etc and have now decided it would be a good idea to take my married name fully for the visa.

should not be too long for yours, ours took 8 days to approve after we sent the RFE info back. And three more days to get the hardcopy in the mail. Yours should be soon. We hope.

I have a question regarding the I-130 and RFE. A friend of mine has just completed her DCF journey thru London and mentioned to me the need for more information regarding our relationship. My question is, should I include the affidavits with the I-130 straight away, or just wait till they tell me? I would like to make the process as quick and simple as possible so am kinda stumped as what to do.

Also I am confused as to whether they need to be stamped by a solicitor or not. I have heard and read different things.

I am sorry if I am asking the same questions as others. It is so confusing!!

if you send them with the i130, they will just send them back to you. some of us did not need them. others did. it is random on who gets an RFE.

Don't apologise! I doubt I'm done asking questions either, lol.

I didn't send any with my petition. I'd heard stories about them being sent back, so I didn't bother. Then some people on here got RFEs asking for them and I started to kick myself, but our approval came through straight away. We'd only been married 10 weeks by the time they got our paperwork whereas others who have been married much longer got an RFE - it really does seem to be down to the luck of the draw!

I'd suggest preparing them anyway and having them ready just incase they're needed. At the end of the day, you can use them in your Packet Three as additional evidence if they're not REFd sooner

I've only just sent off my Passport too, I left it a bit late seeing as we're meant to be going to Rome for the July 4th weekend. Oops!

Great. That didn't take too long at all. Let's hope that the interview dates come up really quickly. I would love to be back home for August. I love Texas in the summer.
