Two cases at USCIS

Hello all,

I filed an I-130 in Dec of 2004 for my wife, she had an interview at the embassy in Sept 2006. They denied her visa at the interview. Then they sent the case back and ended up at USCIS at April 24, 2007. Then between April 2007 and 2009. I sent numorous letters, and made tons of calls to them, all of which got no response and they just ignored me. So i got sick of their ####### and got a lawyer.

The lawyer told me to refile the I-130 and go through the process again and be present during the interview. Well after two years the idiots over at USCIS finally sent me a notice from the first case. Below is the exact message from the notice.

"After review, we have reopened the above application or petition, or reconsidered the decision previously issued. You will recieve a notice under seperate cover once all action has been completed"

The funny thing is they originally sent the notice on April 7, 2009, 10 days before I actually sent the 2nd I-130, but I didn't get it till today because of my old address. I just checked the status and it was last touched on may 1, 2009. I called them and got no help with the person who I spoke with, go figure. I am also including a full description of the case status

Can anyone shed some light on this, thanks?
