New Family name

Hi guys!

So lets say that my wife's name changed from Elizabeth Andrews to Elizabeth Andrews-Meyers after she got married to me and that's also what's listed as her new family name on the marriage license/certificate.

my questions now is....

when we fill out the i-130 and i-485 should she fill out her name as elizabeth andrews or as her new name elizabeth andrews-meyers. im only asking because all her documents such as passport copies etc are still in her old name (elizabeth andrews). but we do have a marriage certificate that says her new name would be elizabeth andrews-meyers.

we are not sure which one we should use!?

You're really overly concerned about non issues. They are aware that you just got married and you may have things that are with your old name. We sent in things with my wifes old name and new name.

Fill everything out with the new name. That's the name that will show up on her green card. Good luck.

Yeah we sent in all things with her new name though, I misread that, terribly sorry.
