Hello VJers,

I had my interview last April 29, 2009 and I am still waiting for my visa. My fiance called the embassy today to ask about it. He was told that it was forwarded yesterday for printing and it will take 5-10 days.

Does anyone of you here have the same experience? Will it really take that long? Once it does get printed, how long before the delivery company will have it?

I am just writing this to vent because I am frustrated.

Thank you for the information you can provide.

Just be patient your visa will come.

I have to wait almost a month after my interview before I received my visa, when document verification was still part of the process. Others have to wait longer than a month...

You should be fine.

Good luck!

FYI - the embassy in Manila prints VISA's on Tuesdays. You will get yours shortly.

FYI my wife had her interview on a Thursday and the visa was delivered on the next Tuesday! Maybe things have changed.

Do you have link showing they only print on Tuesdays?

Sorry, don't want to sound ungrateful. We know it is a process and it has gone mostly smooth for us.

It is just hard to make the travel/wedding plans when you don't know when you will be leaving. Also, Mikee's brother will be in the US in June(he works in Germany) and he wanted to be at the wedding and meet.

Just venting a bit and hoping things happen quickly with the visa. :innocent:

I wish everyone luck and thank you for the help over the last few months.

Hi there! I have the same situation w/ u. I passed the interview last Apr. 27th, but i am still waiting for my visa to be delivered and i also feel a bit frustrated coz i can't finalize my booking for May 16th. I know it's a bit frustrating to wait coz this is the last step for the visa processing in the Phils and still we're left hanging and clueless when our visa will be delivered. So now, i'm just keeping myself busy spending quality time w/ my family, starting to pack my things up and completing all my school and work documents i need, so that when my visa arrived, i'm all set and ready to travel! Good thing i got a very cheap one-way ticket becoz the travel agency i got has a promo for this month and the agency staff was so nice that she booked me but allowed me to resched my flight if i needed w/out penalty.

Just look at the bright side, be positive, have more patient in waiting and keep praying, i think that's the only thing we could do for now... :star::innocent:

 She is definitely correct.

And besides you are still lucky among others including me, your visa processing came smoothly, and you're sure there's a visa coming. Stay cool and you will be fine....

congrats!!!

Things have changed. My case just got out of AP/AR and I was told this over and over for 10 weeks by the Immigrant VISA unit that they only print VISA's every Tuesdays.

PM me for any AP or AR relating to the NBI
