Where's my touch? Is our I130 lost?

Most people are getting touched or whatever but I got nothin'...

Just venting. Sorry...

Some days, despite all the prior waiting, this wait seems insufferable!

Good luck to all and congratulations to those who've been approved.

I'm sorry lgg, have you tried calling USCIS and ask whether you have an officer assigned to your case already?

I know how you feel, this is a very frustrating process. I only got touch once and it was like a website update.... and I got my snail mail NOA2 today.

I'm positive that NOA2s will be raining down on sooner or later.

Don't be sorry TNgirl... I'm happy that people get to be with their families! I can't call, I'm the beneficiary and Mr. LGG is not a huge fan of doing that -- I can't blame him but i have more patience.

We called once and they basically told us to not bug them until 6 months has passed sort of thing.

See? I could call once a week or until I got someone who gave me a valid answer... Mr. LGG... not his cup of tea.

So, if there's a way to call from Canada, I'd do it but I can't set up a whole Skype thing at work because well, that would NOT go over well.

But congratulations TN, this wasn't meant as a poor me... I'm a control freak and I like to know what's going on with my life but the USCIS will not let me.

 My husband is the same. I was bugging him earlier if we should call or not. He told me to sit and wait patiently...:whistle: as if that's easy!

I know how frustrating it is... I'm just like you. It kills me to see people getting touches and updates and approvals and yet I didn't get any. The one time I got a touch, it was like a massive website updates of touches. When we called the USCIS before, we used a three way, I have a phone-in in YM... that means I have a valid US phone number then my hubby dials the USCIS three way. So can hear what the rep is saying. obssessive. hehe... my husband probably knows I won't stop pestering him until he gives me a full detailed transcript of the conversation. Haha

You know, today, I just finished working on my wedding/visit album for the USE. It took most of my day to resize pictures.. to crop the superfulous part and have it printed. I don't have work, so imagine that I'm totally just waiting for this visa day in and day out. I figured I'd do some advance work on my papers (nvc and USE)... maybe you should work on those to keep you busy. I'm pretty sure more NOA2s are on its way. And I'm not patronizing you, but yesterday... we got 2 approvals. I got one today... I'm sure there's lots more coming.

Good luck my dear, anytime you want to rant... send me a PM or just post it here. I'm always here for frustrated members. Been there, done that. We all get our mini meltdowns. Yours is quite mild. haha.. you should've seen me last week!!!

Dear lgg,

I know how you feel, we filed in Feb, and we're almost the last from Feb filers who got our NOA2 just yesterday. And till 3-4 days ago our number didn't work at all. My husband kept calling them almost every week about this issue, and nothing. You as a beneficiary can't call because you need your husband's verbal authorization every time when you'd like to talk to USCIS. That's what my husband was told few days ago (last Friday). I thought: well, then what's the point to call if he'll need to authorize the call anyway, but... DUH! Anyway, only today was the first time to see online we've been approved yesterday, and it's been the first time that thing online worked for a first time. Just be patient, you'll get your NOA2 very soon, and now you'd better start preparing the next pile with docs :) When that day's here, you'll be shocked! At least I was few hours ago. My husband was at work and I called to let him know. Your day is coming

Best wishes, Ani (F)

I'm the same, NOA1 date of 3/24 and still no touches in the system. Grrr! What sucks is that the online estimate timeline on VJ says it should be adjucated between July 5 and August 2. I would hate to have to wait till July to get an NOA2 when 90% of those that filed 2 weeks sooner have their NOA2's already. I check online everyday and no touches... its agitating.

I know how you feel, my case been on a officers desk since April 14th, some filed same time as me, their approved, 2 couples filed after me, their approved, at times, this process feel hopeless to me. My NOA 1 is dated March 12th. It all boils down to luck. Hang in their folks, something has to break loose soon, I pray its not my sanity.

Truly happy!!!

New life, new adventures, and a new attitude.
