Thanks for the warning, Bukirob, and I am sorry this happened to you! I agree with you that changing addresses is a major PITA. Even if you submit the AR-11 AND call them to ask them to apply it to your current case (we all have cases pending, dammit) they still send mail to your old address. At least they did in our case, but so far, we have not had such a major problem (luckily, so far, knock wood) but that is b/c we have had to be SUPER vigilant.

Almost the same thing happened to me. They received my documents and sent a letter advising of the biometrics appointment. Well, I never received this letter because they sent it to my resident address and not my mailing address as was clearly stated on the 751. So, I missed the appointment. They couldn't get the appointment letter tothe right address but they sure got the denial letter to the right address. I ended up having to apply for a Motion to Reopen (plus 585.00 fee) and had a lawyer prepare a letter with proof of their mistake (another 1,500.00) They did reopen my case and I finally got my conditions removed. Total process after the denial took about 3 months.
