What does that mean?
Congratulations, you work for a douchebag.
:yes: having actually experienced such from a semi-literate site-supervisor (btw, his doing the job only meant a tripling of workload for me--as I had to undo the damage the douchebag did).

That's does suck. Be thankful that you don't have a boss who dumps 2 hours worth of work on your desk at 3:45pm which has to be done before 9:30am the following day and in order to do it you have to forgo an office social (while he attends himself).
That too I've experienced from same douchebag site-supervisor.

i find it hard to believe he does exactly the same thing you just did. If that's the case, he needs to see her psychiatrist and adjust his meds. Let him know you're worried and tell him she should seek counceling.

Thanks guys... i appreciate the good advice.

i have a feeling he will ask about it, as he does sometimes (he may be well-intentioned at times). i will try to tell him again, but worry he'll get defensive.

not always an exact duplicate, but in the most recent episode, when i wrote the post... i swear within less than five minutes he was doing the task he had asked me to do... only not cc'ing me on any e-mails or including me on any updates on the matter.

But how do i address this issue? It's making me miserable.

i brought it up tacitly once in private... he seemed to get defensive and asked for specific examples.

I had a boss like that. She reacted the same way when I used to bring it up. My solution was to quit.

Of course, that's harder today.

It's just as easy to quit today as it was yesterday.

Finding a new job may be harder today.
