How Long it takes for Case Complete???

Hi All,

I had mailed in my last missing doc on Apr 22nd. It was scanned into the system by NVC on Apr 30th. Just wanted to know how long will it take for them to review it and complete the case. I spoke to a few operators and they say 2-4 weeks but after checking some timelines of our VJ members I have seen it takes about 5-6 working days after the document has been scanned for the case to complete. Please help me out if you cant in letting me know the approximate time... just kinda tensed as I dont want to miss the interview scheduling dates next week!!! We have had a looooooooooong and stressful journey like most of us here have had!!!

Give them about two weeks but you can call everyday if you want until the IVR tells you that your case has been completed on such and such date.

good luck carlish! my tax transcript got processed really quickly once it arrived. you should be done soon!

we sent in info about our J-1 visa which got accepted by e-mail yesterday - trying to avoid getting another RFE. we are hoping that somehow we can complete this week too. probably just wishful thinking...

Well i received a Checklist for a missing Pc. I sent it the following day, it was scanned into system on April 22, 09 and i got my case complete April 30,09. So it only took 8 days. Just give it one week, it shouldnt be longer than that. They were telling me it takes 2-4 weeks bla bla bla, but it completed real fast. Have faith, youll hear it soon.

Hi sattva. I'm glad you were able to resolve your RFEs. I'd like to thank you again for giving me a headup about the tax transcript. IRS faxed my 2008 account transcript the day I requested it. That was very helpful. :thumbs:

Our last package of ds-230 reached NVC on April 27th. It was in their system on April 29th. Everytime I call they have not recognized that it is the ds-230 package. They keep saying it is in the building :( I am worried why they haven't even started the review on it. We had a K3 interview date for May 19th. Looks like we are not going to make it. Embassy needs everything for the case 10 days ahead of interview date (Courier Fees).
