How long before NVC assigns case number?

We just got approved on April 30th. I am interested in trying to use some of the NVC shortcuts. Any idea how soon we should expect a case number to be assigned?? Thanks!!

first of all

Congratulations for the approval ..i know u had hard time since u sent the RFE

lately NVC is so slow really due to much approval we all seen last days ...

it took me 21 days since my approval (approval notice date is March 27 ,,case number assigned april 17)

but GENERALLY it take from 14-25 days ..most cases ...

so give it two weeks and start calling everyday and talk with an operator till u get a case number then provide ur emails

18 days for us but many are waiting a lot longer, some have been up to 6 weeks so hang in there, hope you get it soon.

FFF's average is 17 days. With the fastest being 9 days and the longest beign 31. As someone else suggested wait two weeks and then start calling

i got my email last may 1 that they sent us our nao2 and i just called nvc...no case number yet...that figures because i havent even gotten out NAO2 in the mail yet!

June 2004...i sat down on the bench to tie my shoelaces (literally) not knowing i would marry the man i just sat down next to...
