Any excuse to take a day off and party is fine by me. There are far too many people who think it is Mexican Independance day :lol: I think Jose Cuervo is the official Mexican joke on the U.S. for that (It's donkey piss, not tequila people) :rofl:

We'll be having tacos & beer. Food City has excellent prices on Tecate. In their circular, it's listed under "Essentials." That's my kinda prioritization!

September 20, 2005: K-1 Interview in London. Visa received shortly thereafter.

AOS

December 30, 2005: I-485 received by USCIS

May 5, 2006: Interview at Phoenix district office. Approval pending FBI background check clearance. AOS finally approved almost two years later: February 14, 2008.

Received 10-year green card February 28, 2008

FYI- The cinco de Mayo is celebrated in Mexico as a holiday, not that important of a holiday but at least people get to stay at home and enjoy a day off.

Any day you get to stay home and enjoy a day off is a legitimate holiday to me!

I really liked Tecate when they had those peel off tops. I donno why, but the new pop tops on cans really bug me. I use a bit of modelo when preparing my carne asada :D
