Attach copy of i-485 to i-130 and vice versa?

I was wondering if one should attach a copy of the i-485 to the i-130 application and vice versa? Or is filing them concurrently enough?

Just file them together in the same packet, you do not need to include a copy of each form. Make sure you maile both the I-130 and the I-485 to the Chicago Lockbox.

Include a completed and signed copy of I-130 with your I-485 . That will prove your eligibility for filing for adjustment of status. The packets with I-130 and I-485 go to different departments and are reviewed by different people.

There`s no need to include a copy of I-485 with I-130.

MonkeyArtic, do exactly as I tell you to, you will not have a problem. Just follow the copy of the cover letter that I sent to you. I detailed every thing that needs to be in the package. If you do not see me include and additional I-485 or I-130 then do not add one. The only difference is that you will include a copy of your 2008 tax document seeing that the tax date has passed. We didn't file ours as yet so we just included our 2008 W2 and 1099 etc. Our income source is from pension and yours is from your employment.
