Considering that the insurance industry is part of the problem i don't think many will see that as a bad thing. Before people start making assumptions insurance is not health care.

Yep. There's life insurance, home and car insurance, travel insurance. The health insurance industry isn't going anywhere...it can and will continue as it does in the countries like the UK and Canada.

Who pays for your health insurance?

My employer and I. I like it just the way it is and I don't want it messed with. Go ahead and find a way to give health care to those that don't have access to it, just leave mine alone.

Just because it works for you, doesn't mean it works for everyone, or will continue working for you in the future. If current trends are any indication, your employer very little or not pay any of your health insurance within a few years.

Of course, ignorance is bliss, and its long as it doesn't affect you, its not a problem. Yet.

It works for more than it doesn't work for. So in effect the needs of the few are more important than the rights of the many.
