Stopping in for a quick (L) fest.

You guys are all very special to me and your updates,news and progress are always on my mind.

You wont hear from me for a while after Y gets here, but when I go back to work I will be back on checking for updates and posting late dancing men to celebrate seren and GS's interview outcomes.

And C will be having an interview pretty soon too I guess ;)

Cnt, I want to know whats goign on with you too!!

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive,and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Good news for me- I-129F left for Costa Rica today! I'm going to see if I can go ahead and schedule the interview. Not sure if the papers have to be there to schedule or not. :star:

Hello Everyone....

GS: Interview is in 12 days...

Yes, VFS seems to only take the important docs, from earlier posts they won't take any of the relationship proof as you have to bring that with you to the interview. The draft should be submitted at the consulate and not at VFS. Anything else of note that they returned to you?

We submit the draft the day of the interview or does it need to be prior to the interview.

They also returned the Aff of support.

Seren, give me the date. I want to count down with u :P

Without the case I don't think you can schedule the interview. Also, I think the Consulate will schedule the interview and after that is when you can try to change it so it can be in a early date.

But you won't loose anything trying now, so call them :-)

Morning Q! Naturally we won't c Lisa until she is ready to come out of the honeymoon peek-a-boo :P

C, my consulate does not allow phone calls to their visa department. I therefore always use email. They are very good at responding back within 24 hours :) Find which way of contacting them is best and go for it. Good luck! :star:

4 more days for us guys!! I am still in disbeliefffffff...big time!! WOW....I hope the CO says hubby can pick up his visa in 1 week (as opposed to 2 weeks-1 month) Praying hard to be reunited in time for my bday BBQ with the family :innocent:

In Costa Rica, you call to schedule your interview (the number and instruction is in the 3 packet). Unfortunately though, I wasn't able to get through today. Due to work obligations, the earliest I could call was 10 minutes before the interview call center closed and no one answered. Guess they decided to take an early Friday lunch! grrr. I'll try again on Monday.

If my DHL tracking is right, our packet left Boston tonight. Not sure of the route, but hoping for delivery in CR by Tuesday or Wednesday. As soon as they call him to pick up, Diego is on his way. He took care of the medical earlier this week, so we're 90% ready. We're sooo ready to be together, as today marked our one year anniversary!

C, Our packet route was Boston, Ohio, Belgium, France then Lebanon :lol: We got dizzy watching it and hubby and I were like come on come on, head east u silly package. The silly thing decided to travel the world and we kept saying get there already!!! lol

My husband went to the Doctor's appointment and just had to bring his ID. He didn't need anything. He also made the appointment before he even had the packet and I made the interview appointment the day the packet arrivedin Costa Rica. I got to pick what day. C should be able to make the appointment on Monday. They will give a choice of days within 3 days or so. It goes very fast in Costa Rica.

I just weed wacked my lawn. The neighbor next door was kind enough to mow it for me..... Hes a good guy.

My Update: I have completed my medicals and submitted all the necessary paperwork. Now I have to cool my heels for another week. Spending my time catching up with family and friends. Bombay is HOT and Humid :wacko: I hope California is better than this :wacko:
