My husband is filing for I-130, I-864 and G-325A.

I file I-485, I-131, I-765 and G-325A

Is filing for i-131 necessary? I'm not planning to go to my home country until December... if i file at the end of may or beginning of june... will i be getting my green card before December? how long does it take? I know i get my work visa in about three months but that's about it..

Do i have to pay an extra fee if i file for the i-131 with my i-485 and i765?

You are not required to file/apply-for AP/I-131. The fee for it is included in the I-485/AOS so it doesn't hurt to do so if you remotely have plans to travel. You could get your PR/Green Card in time - hope you do - but just in case, I'd apply for AP right away.

The worst that can happen is you never get around to needing it because you got your PR/Green Card already. On the other hand - if you don't get the card in time, you'd already be set.

No, you don`t have to file I-131. its cost is included in the cost of I-485 ($1010). So if you`re not planning on traveling any time soon, you don`t have to apply for AP.

Its not necessary, but its at no cost while you are applying for AOS. No harm in applying, You might have an emergency back home and may need it. Its valid for a year. Even I have no intention of using it, but its better to have than to wish, you had. Your AOS interview depends on wher you are located. Check the processing times on USCIS website for your State. From what I see here, some are lucky and get their cases decided with 3 months, while others have to wait for years. Good Luck
