On March 25 2009, I received 2 RFE's. The first RFE, asked for a certified divorce decree. ( this is not my first petition, and all the information I sent and was approved with on the last petition was accepted, no RFE's ). But, I will send them what they want. Then I opened the second RFE, this contained information with my case number, my name and address, and my fiance's name. This RFE requested a divorce decree from two other people, that do not appear on my petition, my fiance does not know them, I do not know them, so is this just a major screw up or what? I responded to the 2nd RFE, the one that contained the erroneous names to me, with a letter and a copy of the RFE. They received the letter and reopened the case 4/3/09. I was unable to immediately respond to the first one ( the RFE with a valid request ) because I received the notice on Friday, obviously the courts are closed on Saturday, and I was leaving to be with my girl for 10 days on Sunday. When I returned, I went to court the next day, got the certified copy and overnighted it to the VSC. They received it on 4/14/09. They sent another "generic" letter which states that processing has continued. What processing is being done? Now they say that they can take up to 60 days to decide on the case. From what I have seen this is very possible! I'm concerned that their screw up will delay this case from proceeding or being approved on a "timely basis". I thought it was first come first serve! Why are so many others being approved with RFE's, but not mine? Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks

60-90 days seems normal, some people get early approval about 1 month after they get your RFE response....
