Guys,

I have a very sad news to share with you. I filed for an I-130 back on june 6th and still haven't received NOA1. I have been monitoring my bank account every couple hours on a daily basis and not to mention, i would even take a good look at my account when i wake up 2 in the AM to take a PEES and on my way back to bed. still a no go. I called USCIS and spoke to some high school kid (must have found a summer part time job with uscis) who states they havent received my petition yet and was advised to wait another week. If still no repsonse, then he suggested I should refile.I am very much worried and stressed out like a sad monkey. Should i refile ? I just don't have anymore patience for this BS visa journey. Please advise :(

If you have no more patience after three weeks, I suggest you exit the ride at this time. :)

It takes up to 5 weeks to get the first NOA. Stop checking in the night and stop calling the "MisInformation Line". :)

Also, don't refile. Not yet anyway.

No patience after only 20 days?????? Wow man...I understand not having patience per-say, and thinking it takes a long time, but you sound like a defeated person! By all technicalities, you are not even DUE your NOA1 for at least another 10 days!

Give it a little more time and do some research....you will find (like I did) that most everyone is on 25-35 days wait for NOA1's!

And buck-up camper. The journey has only begun!

Please be patient. It is only the beginning and this whole process will require lots of patience. I am sure, you will get your NOA-1 very soon. Just relax.

My concern is not that you haven't received your NOA1 yet, but that it has been this long and there is no record of your application, nor has your check been cashed! I don't know what to advise as everyone says that having two applications in is a disaster. I sent mine via certified mail so I could have proof of receipt. If you have to send a new application in, cancel your old check, send a cover letter explaining the situation, and send it via courier service or some sort of deliver service with a confirmation of delivery. I don't want to be ther bearer of bad news - but the wait from application to NOA1 is the shortest of them all. However, I don't believe that means we should just sit back and hope for the best. By all means take action. Good luck.

do not refile, just wait. its taking longer for the NOA1 at the moment, 5-6 weeks for some. yep thats a while, but who knows what mess could be caused by refiling.

just give it some time.
