Hi everyone, im wondering if i do chose the k3 is there anything else i would need than what is below?? My hubby who is the USC would have to send me some documents so i do not want him to miss something out and then have to resend. What do they usually request for packet 3 from the embassy?? From my husband does he just need to send me letter from employment, pay stubs. AOS form, and tax returns? Anything else i would need off him?? Also are photocopies fine for the tax returns, pay stubs and employment letter??? he needs to keep them with him in case we do cr-1.

i copied the below from another post, is this correct all i need??

thanks everyone

Two copies of form DS-156, Nonimmigrant Visa Application

One DS-156K, Nonimmigrant Fiancé(e) Visa Application form

Police certificates from all places lived in since the age of 16

Birth certificates

Marriage certificate for spouse

Death and divorce certificates from any previous spouses

Medical examination (except vaccinations)

A passport valid for travel to the United States and with a validity date at least six months beyond the applicant's intended period of stay in the United States (unless country-specific agreements provide exemptions).

Two nonimmigrant visa photos, two inches/50 X 50 mm square, showing full face, against a light background)

Proof of financial support (Form I-134 Affidavit of Support may be requested.)

Payment of fees, as explained below

The consular officer may ask for additional information. It is a good idea to bring marriage photographs and other proof that the marriage is genuine.

Documents in foreign languages should be translated. Take clear, legible photocopies of civil documents, such as birth and marriage certificates, to the visa interview. Original documents can then be returned to you.

Take a look at the guides as to what you will need for the K-3

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...mp;page=k3guide

Obviously you won't need the fiancee application form since it won't apply to K-3 spousal visa. Plus, the medical exam is for the non-USC (and it does include vaccinations) but you will need that for the interview, not for the K-3 petition.

Good luck.

MUCH MUCH better to go with the CR-1 at this time. K3s are basically dinosaurs now!

Check it out!

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!
