when nvc schedule interview?

Timeline

we keep calling NVC to know the date of the interview and everytime they reply that: " the interview willl be scheduled the second week of may depending on the consulate capacity."

Anyone experienced the same?

11/03/2008 - I-130 delivered to Chicago Lockbox

11/07/2008 - NOA1 received

01/13/2009 - Transferred to CSC

02/09/2009 - I-130 Approved

NVC

02/14/2009 - NVC Received/Case number assigned

02/18/2009 - DS-3032 / AOS Bill Generated

02/26/2009 - E-mailed (wiki template) DS-3032

03/06/2009 - DS-3032 approved by NVC via email

03/10/2009 - Affidavit of support invoice paid

03/16/2009 - IV fee paid

04/02/2009 - Sent I-864 and DS-230

04/06/2009 - NVC received I-864 and DS-230

04/18/2009 - RFE for visa J1

04/29/2009 - NVC completed case

06/09/2009 - Medical examination

06/10/2009 - Interview at the consulate. APPROVED

That's how usually they do, since your case was completed in the end of April, NVC waits till the second week of each month to assign interview dates. Some cases, like mine and a few other people here, they get their interview before that. But like, there was a week we all got interview dates, after that I didn't see any more cases, so you probably should just wait. :)

03/03/09 - NVC received papers

03/05/09 - NVC number assigned

03/09/09 - NVC generated DS 3032 and AOS bill

03/10/09 - E-mailed and mailed DS 3032

03/13/09 - Paid for AOS bill

03/18/09 - Choice of agent accepted by e-mail

03/20/09 - Got e-mail with IV bill

03/20/09 - Paid for IV bill

03/25/09 - Sent the IV DS-230 packet by mail direct from beneficiary's country

03/28/09 - Sent the AOS packet by mail

04/01/09 - AOS packet delivered at NVC

04/08/09 - DS-230 Packet delivered at NVC ( I don't know why that long it was stuck at Customs for like 2 weeks!!!)

04/09/09 - AVR says it's missing the DS-230 (False RFE)

04/09/09 - AOS approved

04/10/09 - DS 230 entered into the system, probably under review now.

04/13/09 - AVR says "The NVC has received the checklist letter response on April 10th"

04/20/09 - Case Completed at NVC

04/24/09 - Got e-mail with the appointment letter

Consular Process

05/26/09 - Medical Exam

06/03/09 - Interview Date!!!! PASSED!!

06/06/09 - Received passport and the Big Brown Envelope

06/24/09 - POE

Just call NVC everyday to ask for your interview dates. Since you just completed NVC at the end of April. Interview date is normally setup for 1st, and 2 nd week of the month. So, it's a good time for you to call them every every day. Good luck.

NVC

02-04-2009 : Visited my wife for 2 weeks. 02-22-2009 come back to US

02-11-2009 : Received package from NVC

02-23-2009 : AOS Paid $70 (Online)

02-23-2009 : DS-3032 sent (by email)

02-25-2009 : Payment Received from my bank (AOS)

03-04-2009 : NVC has received the Choice of Agent DS-3032 (Online)

03-04-2009 : IV Application Processing Fees $400 (Online)

03-05-2009 : Payment Received from my bank (IV APS)

03-07-2009 : DS-230, and I-864 Sent (by USPS)

03-12-2009 : USPS confirm arrived at NVC for DS-230, & I-864

03-13-2009 : NVC received DS-230, & I-864 (Case in progress)

03-20-2009 : NVC case completed in 1 week NVC completed 03-20-2009.

04-02-2009 : NVC Left to HCM city

04-22-2009 : Medical Passed

05-12-2009 : Received a package IV from HCM Consulate by email

05-18-2009 : My wife got Pink.. yeah..

05-26-2009 : Visa received

06-18-2009 : US Entry!!! Yeah, my wife finally here.

06-29-2009 : Received SSN from snail mail

07-20-2009 : Green card received by mail

09-15-2009 : Writting test from DVM.

11-03-2009 : Driving Test.

01-20-2010 : Working.

04-20-2011 : Submit I751

04-26-2011 : Received I-797 NOA with Receipt Number

05-11-2011 : Received ASC Appointment Notice

06-03-2011 : Biometrics Apts @ 11:00 AM

10-11-2011 : Submit more evidence.
