Hi!

I was hoping someone could help me with regards to deciding POE... I have the option of JFK or Newark and have been looking at the POE reviews. It seems only those arriving at JFK get EAD stamps!? Noone arriving at Newark seems to get one. Is it just a coincidence and people at Newark have not asked for it or is only JFK giving EAD stamps? Going to Newark would be cheaper and quicker for me so that's what I'd rather do but I would also like a temporary EAD stamp and it seems Newark is not giving those??

Appreciate any advice I can get on this!

EAD stamp is useless now because they expire really really soon, if you want to work you'll have to wait until you do the Adjustment of Status...

So really I shouldn't bother with JFK just because they give EAD stamps if Newark is cheaper and quicker for me? I was thinking the stamp might make SSN etc easier. I know it shouldn't make a difference because I am eligable for a SSN on a K-1 even though I don't have a work permit but seems a lot of people here on VJ had problems so I thought it might be easier if you have that EAD stamp. But honestly probably not worth going to JFK just because I might be able to get a EAD stamp when, as you say, they're more or less worthless
